Product Types of INA Bearing
INA Deep Groove Ball Bearing
Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used bearing type and are particularly versatile. They feature low friction, noise and vibration, allowing for high rotational speeds. They can withstand radial and axial loads in both directions, are easy to install and require less maintenance than other types of bearings.
DESIGNS AND VARIANTS
- Single row deep groove ball bearings
- Stainless steel deep groove ball bearings
- Single row deep groove ball bearings with filling slots
- Double row deep groove ball bearings
INA Self Aligning Ball Bearing
Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls with a common spherical raceway on the outer ring and two deep uninterrupted raceway grooves on the inner ring. They are available in open or sealed versions. The bearings are insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing, which may be caused by shaft deflection, for example.
INA Cylindrical Roller Bearing
INA cylindrical roller bearings are available in a wide range of designs, series, variants and sizes. The main design differences are the number of roller rows and inner/outer ring flanges as well as cage design and material.
The bearings meet the challenges of heavy radial loads and high speed applications. They accommodate axial displacements (except for bearings with flanges on both the inner and outer rings) and offer high stiffness, low friction and long service life.
INA Spherical Roller Bearing
Spherical roller bearings are available in EA, C, CD, and CA types designed for high load capacity. Types EA, C, and CD have pressed steel cages, while CA uses machined brass cages. All EA types are high-performance standard NSKHPS Series bearings.
INA Angular Contact Ball Bearing
Angular contact ball bearings have inner and outer raceways that are displaced relative to each other in the direction of the bearing axis. This means that these bearings are designed to withstand combined loads, i.e. radial and axial loads acting simultaneously.
The axial load carrying capacity of angular contact ball bearings increases as the contact angle increases. The contact angle is defined as the angle between the line connecting the contact points of the balls and the raceways in the radial plane and the line perpendicular to the axis of the bearing along which the combined load is transferred from one raceway to the other.
INA Tapered Roller Bearing
INA tapered roller bearings are available in a wide range of designs and can also be customized for your specific speed, load, contamination, temperature or vibration conditions.
Tapered roller bearings have an outer ring and an inner ring assembly. The outer ring consists of the outer race and the inner ring assembly consists of the inner ring, rollers and cage. This bearing construction can withstand combined loads and provide low friction during operation. Rigid bearing applications can be realized by aligning a single row tapered roller bearing with a second tapered roller bearing and applying a preload.
INA Thrust Ball Bearing
Single direction thrust ball bearing
Single direction thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads in one direction. They must not be subjected to any radial load. Their separable components facilitate mounting/dismounting and maintenance inspections. Many of the components are interchangeable. The shaft washers have a ground bore that enables an interference fit.

INA Thrust Roller Bearing
INA Thrust roller bearing is used to bear axial load mainly shaft, radial combined load, but the radial load shall not exceed 55% of the axial load. Compared with other thrust roller bearings, this kind of bearing friction factor is lower, higher speed, and has the performance of adjusting heart.
INA Needle Roller Bearing
INA needle roller bearings are bearings with cylindrical rollers whose diameter is small in relation to their length. The improved roller/raceway profile prevents stress peaks and thus extends bearing life.
INA offers needle roller bearings in many different designs, series and sizes, which makes them suitable for a wide range of operating conditions and applications.
INA Pillow Block Bearing
INA pillow (plummer) block ball bearing units consist of an insert bearing mounted in a housing, which can be bolted to a support surface. The INA assortment includes units compliant with ISO standards, North American standards, or Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). Within the INA assortment, you can find units for nearly all requirements.
Application Of INA Bearing
- Deep groove ball bearings can be used in gearboxes, instruments, motors, household appliances, internal combustion engines, transportation vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, engineering machinery, etc.
- Self-aligning ball bearings are suitable for bearing heavy loads and impact loads, precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles, metallurgy, rolling mills, mining, petroleum, paper, cement, sugar and other industries and general machinery.
- Combined needle roller bearings are widely used in machine tools, metallurgical machinery, textile machinery, printing machinery and other kinds of mechanical equipment, which can make the mechanical system design very compact and dexterous.
- Schaeffler thrust bearings are only suitable for parts that bear axial load on one side and have low speed, such as crane hooks, vertical water pumps, vertical centrifuges, jacks, low-speed reducers, etc. The shaft ring, seat ring and rolling elements of the bearing are separated and can be assembled and disassembled separately
- Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are mainly used in heavy machine tools, high-power marine gearboxes, oil drilling rigs, vertical motors and other machinery.
- Joint bearings are widely used in engineering hydraulic cylinders, forging machine tools, construction machinery, automation equipment, automotive shock absorbers, water conservancy machinery and other industries.
- Cylindrical roller bearings are suitable for large and medium-sized electric motors, rolling stock, machine tool spindles, internal combustion engines, generators, gas turbines, gearboxes, rolling mills, vibrating screens, and lifting and transportation machinery.

FAQ Of INA Bearing
Due to their internal design, ball bearings cannot usually be disassembled down to the component level; therefore, they cannot usually be refurbished.
The two biggest factors affecting the starting and running torque of the bearing are the seal design and lubricant selection. The shaft and bearing seat fit, component accuracy and surface finish, and retainer design also have some influence.
In higher speed applications, non-contact sealing devices are usually required to minimize operating torque and heat generation, so oil baffle rings and secondary sealing devices are usually required. Flowing oil lubrication systems are usually the best solution.
After proper installation, most seated bearings only need to be relubricated regularly with a small amount of grease and checked to ensure that they operate at low temperatures, quietness, and sufficient accuracy.
This depends on many factors, such as the application’s load conditions, operating speed, duty cycle, temperature, and operating environment. The technical information section of this website provides some basic information. Our engineers can help you determine more specific theoretical life calculations.
When noise and/or operating temperature increase or operating accuracy decreases, bearings should be replaced.
